Wind Ensemble to Perform at National Conference

The Clearview Regional High School Wind Ensemble is proud to announce its selection to perform at the 2027 National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Eastern Division Conference in Providence, Rhode Island. This prestigious biennial conference brings together music educators, students, scholastic and collegiate ensembles, and educational leaders from eleven states across the eastern seaboard, as well as the District of Columbia for performances, professional learning, and a celebration of music education.

The Wind Ensemble’s selection represents an exciting milestone for the Clearview Band Program, recognizing the dedication, artistry, and musical growth of its students. Clearview musicians and ensembles have built a strong multi-decade long tradition of representing the school and community with distinction, with recent performances at the New Jersey Music Educators Association State Music Conference, New Jersey State Honors Band Gala, regional music festivals, community engagements, and educational outreach events. The Clearview Music Program in its entirety was recognized in 2026 as a NAMM Best Communities for Music Education, marking the eighth time the district has received this national distinction.

In April 2027, the Wind Ensemble will continue this tradition of excellence on the national stage. This selection is a celebration not only of the ensemble’s accomplishments, but of the students, families, educators, administrators, and community whose continued support makes opportunities like this possible. We would like to thank all of these parties for their continued support of our program, we could not be successful without their generous support.

Additional details about this performance, as well as opportunities to hear the band will be announced as the event draws closer.
