Congratulations to the Clearview Regional High School Bands for their fantastic performances on Wednesday March 18th at the SJBODA Region III Concert Band Festival. All three bands took to the stage at Pfleeger Concert Hall on the campus of Rowan University and performed with high quality and excellent musicianship!
We are thrilled to announce that after the two full days of performances, the Wind Ensemble placed First Overall at the festival as the highest scoring band in South Jersey, receiving top marks from both adjudicators - while the Wind Symphony placed Second Overall!!
Both the Wind Ensemble and the Wind Symphony now qualify to perform at the New Jersey State Band Gala on Sunday April 26th at William Paterson University. This is a concert featuring the 12 best high school concert bands from around the state. Having two groups make the New Jersey State Band Gala from the same school is a virtually unprecedented achievement in the state, let alone to have them be named the top two bands!
